Latest Aphpkb Development News

This is what we're currently working on;

MySQL
Updating scripts using the older mysql references with the newer mysql.class.php - admitedly this has been a long time coming, we're hoping to make some major changes to have all the scripts using the mysql class.

Authentication
Adding Email confirmation for author registrations and password resets.

Translation
Currently exploring translation options as well as translator options.  A majority of down-stream clients are in non-English speaking countries and multi-language support will reflect a more international Aphpkb.

Email to Article
This is something I've been tossing around in my head for a while, due in part to working at a company which focuses on Email solutions (Atmail).  A script will access an Email mailbox, verify the author's email and insert into the database ready for confirmation from the author, when confirmed via a link sent by email the article is then ready for admin approval.

We hope to release some BETA candidates in the near future, for that to happen we'll want to improve the installation and include upgrade options.
